Welcome!

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Redlands in California.

My research examines the role of social norms in economic activity, especially with respect to coping with and mitigating climate change. Other projects investigate the intersection between ecological and feminist economics.

A video of my December 2021 talk at the University of Oxford on climate adaptation and feminist ecological economics can be found here, and my Redlands Forum talk at ESRI from February 2024 is here.

My introductory economics textbook, coauthored with Lorenzo Garbo and Dorene Isenberg, Principles of Economics in a Nutshell can be found here
.
